Yash is a third year in the college majoring in computer science and studying Information Technology in the commerce school, with a track in Business Analytics. Throughout his time at VCG, he's worked as a project member, leader, and director. Outside of VCG, he enjoys competing with the Moot Court Team, serving on Class Council, playing with Club Tennis, or debating random things with the Jefferson Society. In his free time, he likes to read a good book or go exploring.
Melissa is a third year majoring in Psychology and minoring in Global Culture and Commerce. She intends to pursue a career in management or human resource consulting. She has been with VCG since her first semester and has experience as a team member, project leader, and member of the executive board. Outside of VCG, Melissa is a lover of fine wines that exceed her college budget, puns, breakfast, and spends most of her time at the gym. Swiping cards. She works there.
Irena is a second year student hoping to study computer science and commerce. This is her 3rd semester on the exec board and 4th as a member of VCG. Outside of VCG, she serves as partnerships manager for HackCville, is the director of technology for Profit with Purpose, is a computer science teaching assistant, and is conducting research on machine learning and natural language processing. Her favorite show of all time is Friends, and she is obsessed with dogs. She hopes to pursue a career in computer programming or analytics. Just kidding, she wants to be a dog walker.
Jordan is a third year student majoring in Economics and Political & Social Thought. With interests in economic development, social theory and business intelligence, Jordan has led and directed VCG projects for technology, healthcare IT, biotech and nonprofit clients. Having work experiences in PE/VC, consulting, biotechnology and web development, he someday hopes to be a data operations manager at an up-and-coming tech company.Jordan is the child of a foreign service family, and has lived on 3 continents, traveled to 35 countries and studied 7 languages. In his free time, he reads classical literature and builds web applications.
William is a second year hoping to study commerce and statistics. During his three previous semesters with VCG, William has worked with a wide variety of clients in fields ranging from biotechnology to social media. This is his first semester on the exec board and he hopes to attract and cultivate a passionate group of consultants. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games and watching Netflix originals.
Sarah is a third year biomedical engineering major with a minor in business. Last semester she worked on a project for Agrospheres conducting market research. She intends to pursue a career in technology consulting starting with her internship at Deloitte this coming summer. In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking, reading and salsa dancing.
Bailey is a third year studying Finance in the McIntire School of Commerce, and hoping to study Economics in the College. She has been with VCG since Spring 2015. She intends to pursue a career in investment banking, starting this summer with her internship at PJT Partners in NYC. Outside of VCG, Bailey loves to travel, hike, and play piano.
Tyler is a second year Economics major concentrating in public policy and is applying to McIntire this semester, hoping to study Finance and IT. Tyler has been with VCG since Spring 2016 and was the project leader of E-Health International last semester. When not balancing the club's budget, Tyler enjoys spending time with his younger brother and following policy on Capitol Hill.
Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts or omissions.
