Rhoback Activewear

Rhoback is a stylish, high-end brand of Activewear for men: think Under Armour meets Vineyard Vines. Rhoback recently won the 2016 EDENS Retail Challenge and was founded by Darden School students Kristina Zambelli and Matt Loftus. VCG is helping Rhoback learn consumer preferences, improve its online marketing, and conduct product testing.

Tom Tom Founders Festival

Tom Tom festival is one of the most popular festivals in Virginia, focusing on entrepreneurship and creativity. The Tom Tom team will be looking at ways to better integrate the festival with the UVA community, and possibly doing some data analysis of festival attendees to figure out expansion strategies moving forward.

Totem

Totem is a social philanthropy platform (mobile app) that provides users, charities and businesses with an interactive way to raise money and awareness for the causes they care about most. VCG is helping Totem test its product in the UVa community and develop a go-to-market strategy.


Critical Flow

Critical Flow develops cost effective water reuse technologies that enable buildings, campuses and communities to reuse more water than they import. VCG is helping Critical Flow develop its pricing strategy, and assess the opportunity of entering the residential water reuse market.


The Mind Body Project

The Mind Body Project offers mindful health programs for REAL people. It will facilitate community-oriented, science-backed, positive-learning, smile-inducing, growth-inspiring experiences for individuals, companies and schools. VCG is helping The Mind Body Project establish new partnerships, set up program feedback systems, perform search engine optimization, and set up a new payment processing system.

Greenbox Capital

Greenbox Capital is a business loan and cash advance company dedicated to transforming local economies through small business innovation. VCG is helping Greenbox develop a go-to-market strategy, perform competitor analysis, research innovation opportunities, and build a predictive model for loan default.

Drunk Mode

Drunk Mode is a college safety application that lets users hide contacts, retrace steps, find friends, and stay responsible when going out. As part of this project, the VCG Drunk Mode team will go through a 4-week Growth Hacking mini course while building brand recognition and partnerships around the university community. Then, VCG will help Drunk Mode with user and market research.


Osmosis

Osmosis is a learning software geared towards healthcare students. Nursing, PA, Pre-Med, and even graduate students all use the platform, and it has experienced rapid growth in the past year. The Osmosis team will work on specific adoption strategies geared towards UVA undergraduate medical programs, and also look at sustainable practice for growth in the future.

Relish MBA

RelishMBA is a centralized recruiting platform designed to streamline how students at top business schools connect with the companies that recruit them. VCG is helping RelishMBA assess new verticals, perform competitor analysis, and research venture capital investment opportunities.

iLab

The Darden Innovation Lab supports the development and growth of promising seed and early-stage business ventures in and around the UVa community. VCG is helping the iLab improve community outreach and perform market research to guide development of open resources for UVa entrepreneurs. This VCG team hopes to target current and prospective student entrepreneurs.


E-Health International

E-Health International designs, develops, markets, and operates highly scalable e-Health solutions for hospitals, clinics, doctors and field workers in developing economies. VCG is helping E-Health with high-level market research in order to build a comprehensive go-to-market strategy.

AgroSpheres

AgroSpheres is a biotech company that develops unique solutions to degrade pesticides and make the process of harvesting safer and more lucrative for wine producers and farmers. VCG is helping AgroSpheres with product pricing, cost-benefit analysis, sales modelling, and market research.
